This looks like Fear & Loathing in Peurto Rico. I'll be honest when I started watching this trailer, I was like "meh", but as I continued it grew on me.


This movie looks very dynamic in terms of their casting choice and the story. I think it is something a section of society can relate to, as well as it doesn't fall into the formulae that has been constantly fed to the movie loving public

I've always been of Japanese fashion so it's no Tokyo and has been in existence since 2002. Here are a few pics I liked.

Sometimes I might not like the whole look but there would be a piece that just  has me going back to a pic, the piece in this pic is the jacket. I like how it is printed on the sleeve and it's is drapey. It would be great over a pair of skinny pants or a slim skirt in black and perhaps a loose, strappy, assymetrical top in jersey. Perhaps a cute detail at the hem of the pants.

For some strange reason, I love these kind of dresses, maybe because I'm self conscious about my irregular waist. I love the colour, but I'm not crazy about the glittery neckline. What I like about the dress is I think you can wear it with any kind of shoe.

Simply put, I like to see men in skirts. I'm not saying every day but I like to see it every now and then and it's awesome when man wears a skirt and act normal. They're not self conscious about it and feel like it is taking about from them being a man. Self confidence is always sexy.

I love this look, not because the pieces are strong on their own or the look fall into what would be considered fashionable. I love it because it has personality, it speaks about the person and I always like that.

I like the striped top, it's great to throw over a cute racer back or a cool graphic t-shirt.

Normally, I would not post this kind of look but the dress caught my eye. I have a thing for little white dresses and it is kind of like the red dress above. Perhaps I would layer the dress, but I would limit it.

Let me give you a little back story, when the first Ghost Rider came out, I was so excited. A chopper bike, a bad ass hero with issues that derived from cowboys. I was so excited then I saw it and I was so disappointed, I felt gipped, to say it was bad is an understatement. Now their bringing out a sequel and like a dumb ass, I'm going to watch it. Why do I like choppers so much? *Sigh*


All I can say is "Oh Lord!" So sexually frustrated women suffered from Hysteria? I see....


I'm looking forward to this, vampires who don't sparkle, Yeah!!!

This is the first time I've ever reference an actual man on Male Appreciation, but I'm appreciating Stanley Tucci. I don't know if I'm going to be making it a habit but I couldn't resist this one. I saw Stanley Tucci in three movies this week, Captain America, The Devil Wears Prada and Burlesque and it dawned on me that he has been in a lot of movies that I liked.

What I like about Stanley Tucci is he becomes the role flawlessly to the point that you forget that this is the same actor that was in a bunch of other movies. I also like that he's not a "celebrity" actor, for some strange reason I respect the actor, the recording artist, the artist that does his job and is respected than those that have to sold to me that their great and we should pay attention to them. I like that his work as an actor speaks for itself.

If you look at his IMDb (The Internet Movie Database), you can see that he has been in movies every year going back to the 80's. That is pretty awesome. Here are a few movies he' been in:

The other day my sis showed me a video with Todrick Hall and I was so impressed that I subscribed to his channel. My only hang up is when I googled him there was a lot of negative press about him. It's funny how a person can be so talented but have a dubious cloud hanging over them and colours how you see the person. I am loving Todrick Hall as a performer but I can't speak for him as a person. Check out his work below.

Well wild animals in captivity. It's been ages since I've been to a zoo, but it makes an awesome date. It's something cool to do and it gives you and your date opportunities to talk. Are you all sensing a trend? For those who aren't picking it up, the trend is communication. Without communication, you won't know if the person you are dating is on the same page with you.

  Anyway, back to the date, it's pretty much simple, go to the zoo, walk around, look for your favourite animal and marvel on how cool that animal is. You can talk about why you love a particular animal or why another animal give you the heebie jeebies. For instance, I love cheetahs and meerkats, I like elephants foxes and wolves and I hate worms, and I can go on and on about the whys and how comes. I'm sure the same can be said for you and your date.

Some bonus points to keep in mind:

• Have fun!!
• Get a cheap souvenir, you don't have to break the bank, a small key ring or a small plush toy would work. The idea is to have something that when you look at it, you remember how much fun you had on the date.
• Communicate (I think this will be in all my bonus points from now on).
• Either plan the date in the morning or the afternoon, I will be straight with you, zoo's are expensive when it comes for snacks and food. So go to the zoo then go and eat at a reasonably priced eatery, or eat and then go to the zoo.
• Work out which animals you definitely want to see and get to those first and alternate. You don't want at the end of the day you say all their animals and didn't see yours or you wasted time looking at animals you could care less about.
• Plan the date for either a week day during the academic year. Why you ask? 1. Most adults are working during the week and would plan to go the zoo on the weekend, 2. During the summer holiday, kids would go to the zoo to hang out. I don't know about you but, I'm not crazy about crowds and long lines and I would want to have an enjoyable time on a date instead of dodging running kids, moody teenagers and *shudder* crowds.
• Don't forget aquariums, if you don't have a zoo nearby, there might be an aquarium that would be as much fun.

Anyway, definitely consider going to the zoo on your next date, and as usual have fun!

A bus overturned with several local politicians (JLP,PNP, NDM and any otherP) on board so a farmer living nearby buried them.

The next day the police came to question the farmer. "So you buried the politicians. Were they all dead"?

He answered, "Offica when mi a bury dem some a dem a bawl out sey dem nuh dead but you know how dem lie aready" Translation - "Officer, when I was burying them, some of them were crying out that they were not dead, but you know how they always lying."

In my ideal world, I would live in a small cottage with a wrap around veranda and just enough space, so it is no surprise that I love love love (did I mention I love) this. Now, I'm not talking about living with six other people but the use of space including overhead space. Love it!

I have an honest fear of becoming one of those bloggers who start out blogging on the regular and then peter off into a few blogs a week and then before you know it 9 months to a year pass and not a post on their blog. To be honest I do like to blog but every now and then I get in a funk. Sometimes the funk is related to the weather, sometimes I'm not feeling too hot and sometimes, I just feel so overwhelmed and have lost my direction in life. At this moment, it's a mixture of all, it's rainy and I feel my body fighting a flu or cold and I overworked my body on Saturday, and I just feel like I don't know what I'm doing. Do you know what I need? A vacation!!

A week or two of not doing anything related to work, not related to my life and the routines. Ugh!! Wake up go to work, work out (well I like the results of that one), go home, eek out some more work and go to bed. But I can't, take a vacation that is, I'm broke, the cost to get off this rock is madness and it's a bit on the hard side to get off time from work. What about the future? God only knows. The whole economic sh!+ storm has made it mad hard to do a proper forcast and see where anything is going. Then everytime I think okay, things are looking up, BAM!! something comes out of left field.

Well, I just had to rant, although I've held back a bit, why do I censor myself?!?

Oh yeah, as soon as I get over the funk, we'll be back to the usual posts.

The more I watch this trailer, the more I would watch this movie because it shows a real relationship. Then I read what the plot was and I was even more interested, the plot being

A British college student falls for an American student, only to be separated from him when she's banned from the U.S. after overstaying her visa.

This looks so good and the actors are just so good, by this I mean they are not top bill actors that would distract you from the plot, but they are strong enough to drive the movie and see them as the characters they portray. I'm getting goosebumps.


This looks so sweet, I'm not sure if I would watch it at the cinema, but I could watch it on a Sunday afternoon.


Okay, when I first heard of Harold & Kumar, I said no way am I seeing this. Then I saw it and I literally laughed my ass off. It is one of my favourite movies. I still haven't seen the second one, but I'm looking forward to the third one

Growing up, my Dad always had a beard and moustache, it was one of the things that defined my Dad. Then a couple years ago, for vanity reasons, he shaved off his beard and continued since. I will be honest, I was taken aback, it looked weird to me at the time but I've gotten used to it since. I know some women don't like facial hair, but I don't mind it and I like it when it's well groomed, so today's Male Appreciation is men with facial hair.

I wish I could wax poetic about how a man with a beard and/or mustache has an air of sophistication. I could go on and on about how I appreciate when they take the time to take care of their facial hair - making sure things are not stuck in it and making sure it's well trimmed. I could speak of how sexy it is to see a man you know had shaved and then he has that shadow of a beard. I could write about feeling the tickle of a beard when you are being hugged from behind or you can laugh at them when they're eating ice cream and it gets all over their mustache, reminding you that they are human just like you.

So to men with facial hair, I appreciate you.

I watched the clean version of Pulp Fiction on AMC on Sunday and I miss the soundtrack. I got the soundtrack from my brother before I watched the movie and loved it. I don't know what happened to the CD, but every now and then I have a craving for the soundtrack. So I figured why not do a blog post where I can enjoy it whenever I want. I'm going to get the album back for whenever I'm driving and I want to hear Samuel L Jackson cussing someone out.

Some times all you need is a nice Sunday afternoon, sitting outside with a pitcher of lemonade or ice tea, a cool breeze cooling your brow, a good companion - friend or someone who is more than a friend - to talk the hours away (don't matter what you're talking about, you're just talking) and some music with soul. The kind of soul that would make you stop in the middle of the conversation and take a minute to savour it before you get back into whatever you were talking about. The kind of soul that has you thinking as well swaying to the melody. Just to give you a taste, here is Aloe Blacc.

This trailer has me so conflicted. I love Liam Neeson, but the premise of this movie has be going meh. I think I would need to see more footage to really get into it. I must say I liked the scene of the awakening which was pretty sweet but the relationship and the protagonist isn't doing anything for me. From what I see it's Transformers at sea.


Some time back I promised myself that I would not negatively critique anything on my blog. You know the old saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I'm breaking this promise by saying, "Really people, really, did you not watch Valentines Day!! God, I felt so frustrated after watching that movie and now you make a new one with the same premise and you put more actors in the mix. Let me tell you a little secret, come on, come closer, *stage whisper* just because you have multiple lukewarm stories, doesn't mean you end up with a hot film. The good stories do not magically strengthen the bad stories, it just make you have no choice but to watch the bad story to get back to the good story. Ugh!!!" Okay I got that off my chest.


I just have one thing to say: EDDDIIIIIEEEE!


This looks like a solid film and I haven't watched a WWII film in a while


I know these will never show in Antigua
